About the role
We are hiring for a Workplace Analyst to join our inhouse workplace team based in our head office in Stratford-Upon-Avon.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of 4 who support NFU Mutual across all 350 properties in our office portfolio in terms of workspace utilisation, office design and furniture provision.
Reporting to a Senior Workplace Analyst, you’ll be advising internal stakeholders on efficient utilisation of office space, as well as designing new office layouts and project managing multiple teams on-site during office reconfigurations and relocations,and ensuring they are completed on time, on budget, and adhere to health and safety guidelines.
You will monitor office space usage across the portfolio in order to analyse and report on space utilisation and provide recommendations for achieving greater efficiencies.
Due to the nature of the role and location of the property portfolio regular travel across the UK will be required. Access to company pool cars is provided.
Informal hybrid working options can be discussed, up to an estimated 60% homeworking after the initial training period and depending on performance.

- Duties include:_
- Design office layouts that optimise space to meet customer, corporate and legal requirements.
- Support our Hybrid Working Programme by delivering office layouts which reflect best practise for agile/hybrid working options
- Manage and design recommendations on offices moves, refurbishments and relocations
- With support from a Senior Workplace Analyst project manage on-site teams
- Advise internal customers on space planning
- Manage third party suppliers of products and services
- Plan and agree furniture, equipment, and internal signage for all group premises to ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and corporate branding
- Manage stored furniture to maximise reuse and minimise waste
About you:
You will be an experienced Workplace Analyst who enjoys continuous improvement and managing projects across multiple sites. You will have a high degree of motivation, a commitment to quality, and strong integrity, as well as excellent communication skills(written and verbal).
- Experience and Knowledge_
- Experience of office space planning
- Experience of project managing office moves & refurbishments from a workplace perspective
- Experience of procuring services and products
- Ability to take responsibility and manage workload
- Strong relationship building skills (especially with internal customers and external suppliers)
- Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and statutory requirements
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Driving licence required due to extensive national travel
- Qualifications_
- Business or Facilities qualifications at degree level or equivalent experience
- AutoCAD training
- IOSH (desirable)
- Membership of appropriate professional body (e.g. IWFM)
