**Job Opportunity: Experienced Vintage Bus Driver**

**Job Types: Part-time Contract**

**Yard Location: Eastfield Industrial Estate, Crystal Business Centre, Penicuick, EH26 8HA**

**Full Day Rate: £250.00**

Lion Hire Limited is seeking experienced drivers to start as soon as possible.

Get behind the wheel of a beautiful vintage 1960s Routemaster; Join our team of drivers and become part of the UK's most exciting and dynamic bus tour company

This role is on a contract basis to assist with our peak time of the season, which can potentially lead to recurring shifts in regard to private hire and cover.

**Requirements**:

- PCV license
- UK driver's license
- Good time keeping
- Flexibility of schedule
- Availability into the evenings and some weekends as the tours run in the evening however the work runs from earlier in day.

**Experience in the following areas is desired but not essential**:

- Having previously worked with Routemaster buses
- An interest and love for historic vehicles

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate buses safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and proper maintenance.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers and addressing their needs.
- Maintain clear communication on shift and other team members regarding schedules and any issues.
- Keep accurate records of mileage, and any incidents during driving.
- Ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of the bus interior and exterior.
