Senior Network Engineer

I am recruiting for a Senior Network Engineer to work on a hybrid basis - 2 days per week in Dunstable, 3 days remote.

This role falls inside IR35 so you will have to work through an umbrella company for the duration of the contract.

You must have be CCNP certified. Palo Alto or F5 equivalents are desirable.
In-depth working knowledge of the following protocols are essential - OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, STP,PVST, RPVST, HSRP.
Strong firewall skills across Cisco and Palo Alto product sets are essential.

Checkpoint firewall skills desirable. Cisco ASA is essential.
Strong F5 skills with knowledge of LTM APM and I-rules.
Must have a practical working knowledge of the following protocols and technologies - MPLS, DWDM,VPN, TCP/IP, SSL.

You must also be skilled in Network Security.

Familiar with Packet capture tools and Network Management tools (HP suite specifically).

Knowledge of Gigastor packet capture tool would be desirable.
