**Client**:
Concept IT are looking for a Infrastructure Engineer to work for a Digital Transformation Partner based in Daresbury. My client provides a variety of IT solutions such as consulting, implementation, services and the operation of IT systems.
**Role**:
To help determine customers needs, as the customers first point of contact and a vital role within the organisation. Ensuring the customers receive the highest level of support, working closely with the technical teams to investigate, troubleshoot and supportIT infrastructure, hardware, and software across their customer locations.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provision of support, both remotely and at customer premises working with computer users to resolve problems and answer questions on a variety of hardware components and software programs.
- Monitor tickets logged in our IT Service Management System called ConnectWise and prioritise these in relation to the set SLA agreement in place with the customer, the risk and approximate amount of time required for the ticket.
- Work on roll-out and delivery of IT projects
- Investigate the problem whilst keeping in contact with the customer and logging notes in the system.

**Education or Qualifications**
One or more of the following: Microsoft, VMware, Veeam or EMC certifications
**Technical Requirements**
The following technical competencies are desirable but not essential:

- Basic to intermediate skills in regard to the administration, configuration and troubleshooting in Microsoft technologies
- Excellent skills in administration, configuration and troubleshooting with VMware 6.7(vSphere, VSAN, ESXi)
- A good understanding of back up systems such as Veeam, Avamare
- An understanding of storage technologies such as Dell EMC, HPE Synergy, HPE Nimble Storage
- Cisco UCS, DELL EMC Unity Storage, Ivanti patch management, McAfee EPO, and many other systems - Experience is preferred but not necessary for these for a L2 engineer.

**Person Specification**
- Excellent customer facing and communication skills
- Problem solving skills and resilience to issues and influences outside of his/her control.
- Excellent team player, flexible, responsive, takes ownership and can work on the detail in a real time environment that requires out of hours work as necessary.
- The ability to communicate clearly and concisely with customers.
- Access to own vehicle is a must due to my clients location
- Clean driving license (a very low amount of points may be considered)
- Must be able to pass SC Clearance, NPPV3
