**JOB SPECIFICATION**

**Reports to: Operations Manager**

**Contract: Varied - 8, 10 or 12 hour shifts. Days, nights, weekends.**

**Based: Student accommodation sites across the United Kingdom**

**Salary**:£11.44 per hour.**

**Location: St Andrews**

**WHO YOU ARE**

We are looking for somebody reliable, well mannered, with good communication skills and a valid SIA Front Line Security Guard Licence. With a keen eye and a brilliant way with people, you must be a friendly face who enjoys helping the public and being on your feet all day. In return you can look forward to an interesting role where no two days are the same with exciting career opportunities.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Ability to communicate fluently in English
- Able to identify and deter criminal activity and escalate where appropriate
- Have a pro-active approach to access control, activity monitoring, and maintaining a visible security presence.
- Ensuring fire safety & health and safety policies and regulations are adhered to.
- Assist residents in a polite and friendly manner if approached with queries, with redirection to the appropriate personnel for help.
