Timeplan Education are currently working in partnership with a mainstream Norwich primary school with a specialist SEN inclusion unit within the school. They have an exciting new HLTA position and are looking to recruit ASAP

Starting immediately, the school is looking for an outstanding HLTA on a long term basis. You will be working with an exceptional team including a SEN Teacher and team of SEN Teaching Assistants.

The school is part of a trust and offer excellent opportunities for additional training and progression.

Your Role:

- Covering a range of lessons when the teacher is absent
- Working with other support staff to engage pupils in class
- Providing feedback to teachers and parents
- You will be assisting pupils with Autism, SEMH, ADHD, Severe Learning Difficulties and other Learning Disabilities

What you will need:

- A range of behaviour management techniques
- To have worked with learners with a range of needs
- The ability to re-engage a young person in learning through a range of methods
- To be able to commit to working at the school for long period of time
- A resilient attitude
