ROLE: Team Leader - Night Shift
HOURS: Continental shifts 4 on, 4 off. 6pm - 6am - Permanent Role
HOURLY RATE: £17.76 including shift premiums

We are currently looking for experienced Team Leaders to provide guidance, instruction, direction, and leadership to the Extrusion team for the purpose of achieving key results against our budgeted key performance indicators. As the Team Leader, you will monitor the quantitative and qualitative achievements of the team and report results to the Shift Manager.

WHAT OUR TEAM LEADERS DO:

- Support production management to implement / execute business improvement plan
- Support Shift Mangers, peers and subordinates to deliver shift performance targets
- Responsible for highlighting and implementing performance improvements to add value
- Help develop a motivated team in a constructive manner
- Ensure key safety activities (risk assessments, safe working practice etc) are carried out, issues raised are understood / adhered to
- Actively seek out potential / actual Health Safety and Environmental issues and take effective action to reduce/eliminate risk
- Ensure production targets are achieved / or improved upon
- Shift performance data is captured and logged in the agreed format / timescales
- Ensure all finished and semi-finished goods leave the Extrusion halls in accordance with the works order and current Eurocell Plc quality assurance guidelines
- Overall monitoring of equipment condition and performance, and activities to ensure ongoing capability to produce at required performance
- Attend daily production review meetings, feedback on performance against target, discuss issues and actions to remove/reduce impact on performance
WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR TEAM LEADERS:

- Experience of managing large teams within a Production / Manufacturing / Extrusion facility
- Demonstrate experience of developing and coaching successful teams
- Knowledge of delivering Business Change / Process Improvements
- Recent experience of a fast-pace environment working under pressure
- Customer orientated attitude in line with company policies
- Excellent communicator at all levels
