Graphic Designer

The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating and designing graphics for the use in media products such as magazines, labels, advertising and signage, developing concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos and websites. He should be able to capture the attention of those who see the graphic design and communicate the right message. For this, he needs to have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design. His major goal as a Graphic Designer is to inspire and attract the target audience.
Functions:
Your duties will consist of but will not be limited to:
1. Study design briefs and determine requirements.
2. Conceptualize visuals based on the requirements.
3. Prepare rough drafts and present ideas to the concerned team.
4. Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand.
5. Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic.
6. Follow the latest design trends.
7. Test graphics across various media.
8. Amend designs after getting constructive feedback from the superior.
9. Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and as per the brand standard.
10. Determine the size and arrangement of copy and illustrative material, as well as font style and size.
11. Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule.
12. Establish creative direction for the company as well as the brand guidelines.
13. Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions.
14. Perform retouching and manipulation of images as needed.
15. Coordinate with printing companies and other suppliers as needed.
**Skills**:
- Proven graphic designing experience.
- A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics.
- Familiarity with design software and technologies (Adobe Creative Suite).
- A keen eye for aesthetics and details.
- Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web.
- Knowledge of Adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator, Sketch, InDesign, and other graphic design software.
- Compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.
