Catering Assistant

**Location**: George Street, Edinburgh, EH2 4LH
**Pay Rate**: £12 per hour (paid fortnightly)
**Hours**: 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday
**Contract**: Temporary to Permanent

**Role Overview**:
We are seeking an experienced **Catering Assistant** to join our team at a prestigious location in George Street, Edinburgh. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for food preparation, especially high-end sandwiches, and delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist with food preparation, focusing on high-quality sandwich making and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and serving areas.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations.
- Support the team with daily catering operations, including restocking supplies and managing food displays.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients or customers.

**Requirements**:

- **Experience**: Minimum of 2 years in a similar catering role.
- **Certifications**: Valid DBS certificate and Food Safety certification are mandatory.
- **Skills**: Strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
- **Preferred**: Previous experience in preparing high-end sandwiches or similar catering tasks.
