**Job description**:
We are currently seeking dedicated and caring **Teaching Assistants** to join a welcoming and inclusive school in the St Albans area. These full-time positions are available for an immediate start and involve supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities within a classroom-based setting.

**The role**:

- Full time, Mon - Fri, 08.30am to 4:00pm
- As a **Teaching Assistant**, you will play a key role in supporting SEND pupils with both their academic progress and personal development.
- Providing one-to-one or small group support for pupils, as directed by the class teacher
- Assisting with personal care needs where required, ensuring pupils feel safe and supported
- Promoting inclusion and encouraging pupils to engage fully with classroom activities
- Helping to create and lead play-based learning activities to support independence and communication
- Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to implement individual learning plans
- Available immediately & local to the St Albans area
- Experience working with children in a professional setting
- Upbeat, caring and attentive personality as a Teaching Assistant
- Willing to support SEND children as a Teaching Assistant
