Robertson Bell is pleased to be partnering with a Local Government organisation who are seeking a Head of Finance to join their team on a permanent basis. Offering significant scope for progression and the chance to lead a highly capable team, this rolewill lead the finance team to ensure the production of accurate financial reports whilst providing robust financial management to various stakeholders.

**The main responsibilities of the Head of Finance include**:

- Lead, manage, and motivate the financial services team, holding regular one to one's and providing training and mentoring where required.
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of the annual budget, and medium-term financial plans, for the organisation, as well as providing clear and concise financial advice to budget holders throughout the organisation.
- Oversee the accurate and timely production of the statement of accounts.
- Provide hands-on assistance to the finance team in the day to day running of finance activities and reporting.
- Deputise for the Finance Director when required.
