Are you considering a career in financial services? We have a trainee administrator opportunity in our growing Governance Services team in Jersey.

In this role, you'll provide ongoing assistance and support to one of our specialist client teams in relation to the provision of high quality administration services to one of our strategic corporate client.

**About the role**:

- Assist the team with client due diligence and undertake compliance checks in respect of new business
- Be involved with client acceptance process
- Support all aspects of the ongoing administration of client entities, delivering excellent client services levels at all times
- Undertake filing of any client documentation
- Assist with the ongoing data input and maintenance within our corporate services management database
- Provide assistance to the team with the preparation of statutory and regulatory filings
- Prepare payment instructions
- Attend client board meetings
- Opportunity to undertake professional studies
- Other ad-hoc duties as requested

**About you - essential requirements**:

- Having good communication and interpersonal skills
- Being able to build relationships and work as part of a team
- A desire to succeed within a financial services role
- A positive and flexible approach
- Ability to manage and prioritise tasks, time and people in order to meet deadlines
- Ability to use initiative and work independently
