**Job Title**: CNC Miller ( Weekend Days) - Permanent
**Location**: Leicester
**Salary (p/h)**: £19.89 (Inclusive of shift allowance)
**Working hours**:6am - 6pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday
**The Role**: We are looking for experienced CNC Millers to join our busy milling department in our manufacturing facility here in Leicestershire. We are a global manufacturer of machined components supplying into various sectors worldwide. Oursite in Leicester has recently gone through a huge makeover and is now considered to be our centre of excellence.
**What will I be doing when I join you as a CNC Miller?**:

- Set up machines with the required work holding and tooling in accordance with relevant procedures.
- Use and control of CNC programs in accordance with relevant procedures.
- Understand all set up parameters and the effect that they have on the process, for example, datum setting and tool length and wear offsets.
- Working to structured manufacturing plan
- Responsible for setting up CNC milling machines.
- You will be capable of using measuring equipment such as micro meters, Vernier Callipers, Height Towers, Shadow Graphs, CMM etc.

**The successful CNC Miller will have**:

- Experience Setting and Operating a variety of machines to produce precision machined parts within customer & quality specific tolerances.
- You will have the ability to work to a structured manufacturing plan and be responsible for the quality output while on shift.
- Previous experience with various handheld measuring equipment is essential.
- 3-5 years’ experience within an Automotive/Aerospace environment
- Experience in setting and operating 5 axis mill turn machines
- Ability to read and understand CNC codes
