**Communications Adviser/Campaigns Adviser**

**Fixed Term Contract up to 12 months (Maternity Cover)**

**Salary c. £31,500 per annum pro rata, depending on experience**

**Based in Stoneleigh with hybrid working, working 22 hours per week**

**About you**

Are you a passionate campaigner who likes to make a real-world difference and is looking to be part of an award-winning campaigns team? If you have a proven track record delivering campaigns and developing communications plans that seek to influence both public and political audiences then we would love to hear from you.

We are looking for a team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced communications department to design, develop and deliver campaigns on behalf of our 50,000 members. To be successful in the role you will need to be able to demonstrate a creative approach, have practical experience of using a variety of digital and print platforms as well as events to promote your campaigns.

You will also need experience working or an interest in learning how to work across a broad group of policy and political teams to identify opportunities and help to design campaigning solutions that meet the needs of the organisation, as well as the people skills to gain the necessary buy-in to create campaigns with impact.

**About the role**

Working with the Campaigns Manager you will be responsible for designing and delivering impactful campaigns which support our members and garners public support for British food and farming. You will need passion and determination to support the industry and have practical experience delivering face to face events.

This is an ideal role for someone with proven experience in industry or an agency who has had responsibility designing and writing content across digital, social and print platforms. A background in journalism would be beneficial but not essential as would experience of working in a political environment.

Please note that this role is known as a Campaigns Adviser at the NFU.
