**_Petrofac is seeking a _**_Senior Instrument Designer - _**_Contractor for 12 months based Aberdeen, UK._**

**_The role is outside IR35 and we invite Limited Companies to engage._**

**Scope of Services**:

- Provide design input to estimates for project work scopes
- Provide technical design expertise to specify modifications to existing equipment or purchasing new equipment including:

- DCS, ESD F&G and Metering system modifications
- Field Instrumentation including Pressure, Level, Temperature, Flow and Specialist Measurements.
- Valves
- SIL, High Integrity Systems (HIPPS)
- Measurement and Metering
- Industrial Networking and Communications
- Provide technical design expertise to the resolution of technical queries ensuring that all design changes are captured by the change control process
- To be able to conduct site surveys on offshore or onshore assets
- To be able to produce calculations required for the role and participate in design reviews.
- Production of discipline documentation deliverables for inclusion in work packs.
- Provide a level of technical support that satisfies the appropriate Asset Safety Case and that the PFEER performance standards ensuring they are not compromised by any discipline engineering activities
- Compliance with company engineering procedures, industry, international and client codes and standards.
- Ensure that all work complies with the Contract Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures as appropriate.

- Schematic Diagrams
- Cable Interconnection Diagrams
- Cable; Panel & Junction box Termination Diagram
- Junction Box Termination Diagram
- Pneumatic; Chemical and Hydraulic Hook-up Diagram
- Pneumatic; Chemical and Hydraulic Hook-up Schematic
- Installation or story board diagrams to facilitate understanding
- Cable Schedule
- Requisition - Bulk Bill of Materials
