TPT2061 Business Development Manager - Security Industry

**My client is a leading provider of security services including provide Static guards, Mobile Patrols, CCTV, Concierge, Retail / Loss Prevention guards, and Event Security Officers. The team is committed to maintaining a service level that is built uponexcellence, professionalism, and integrity. As part of their expansion, they are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to work for a forward thinking, dynamic security company. We are looking for someone to generate new businessopportunities to grow the portfolio of clients. Ideally based from my clients offices in Watford, Herts.** Building a database of current users of potential service users by undertaking regular prospecting. Assisting with the development process from marketing intelligence through to client identification, pre-qualification, tendering, negotiation and contractimplementation.

Alongside this, you will be attending tender site visits, client meetings and submission interviews, preparing and delivering presentations and completed tender documents to prospective clients

The following skills, knowledge and experience are also required:

- SIA Licence (PREFERRED)
- IT literate (proficiency in MS Office)
- Strong sales or business development experience in Security Industry
- Tender writing experience
- Experience of generating leads
- Strong communication skills - able to cold call potential clients
- Experience in closing both public and private sector contracts
- Proven track record of identifying and securing new business
- Good communication, organisational and analytical skills
- Ability to work under deadlines
- Able to work confidently alone and as a team
- Be commercially aware with total commitment to customer service and development
- Positive mental attitude and self-motivation
