**The Role**

We're dedicated to delivering excellence and innovation in our operations, and we're seeking a highly driven and experienced Senior Transport Planner to lead our project team in managing the delivery of small, medium, and large-scale data capture projects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality data.

Reporting to the Operations Director, the Senior Transport Planner will play a pivotal role in efficiently managing the delivery of large nationwide traffic assignments. Upholding our values of accountability, customer first, and curiosity, you will ensure strong stakeholder management through effective communication and transparency, while operating within the Project Manifesto KPIs to ensure on-time delivery.

**Responsibilities Will Include**:

- Maintain regular client contact throughout the project lifecycle, providing updates and ensuring high levels of satisfaction by delivering high-quality data.
- Ensure successful on-time delivery of projects, holding yourself and the team accountable for meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality data.
- Provide effective communication with clients (verbal, written, and face-to-face) to ensure their needs are met and satisfaction is maintained.
- Delegate and manage workload within the team, fostering a culture of curiosity and continuous improvement to ensure the successful day-to-day operation of the department.
- Recruit and onboard new team members, managing ongoing training needs to foster a culture of growth and development and ensure the delivery of high-quality data.
- Manage the delivery of high-quality project data through collaboration with all relevant departments, demonstrating attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
- Review project budgets with a focus on maximising project profitability, demonstrating financial accountability.
- Identify and implement project/process improvements, driven by curiosity and a commitment to delivering high-quality data.
- Support the Operations Director with any ad-hoc tasks, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute to the overall success of the team.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in large-scale project management in a busy process-driven environment within the transport industry, demonstrating a commitment to delivering high-quality data.
- Proven experience in high-level planning and critical thinking skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively, delivering high-quality data on time.
- Established team leadership experience and delivering on key team metrics, demonstrating accountability and a commitment to delivering high-quality data.
- Demonstrated evidence of negotiation and risk management capability, driven by a curiosity to explore innovative solutions and deliver high-quality data.
- Strong analytical skills paired with high levels of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and reliability in the delivery of high-quality data.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, demonstrating technical competency in delivering high-quality data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, reflecting our value of customer first in all interactions.
