We are looking for someone to join our small team, made up entirely of Senior Pensions Administrators, that delivers a full range of Defined Benefit pension administration services to our client’s executive pension scheme. You will be working with clients on a day to day basis, assisting and supporting them with highly confidential and potentially complex queries regarding their pension administration.
We are looking for someone who has a good level of background pensions technical knowledge and who is methodical, questioning and accurate. On a daily basis the team has to consider Lifetime and Annual Allowance limits, scheme max and EFRBs. Therefore, this is a good role in which to test and improve your knowledge of pensions legislation.

Core duties and responsibilities:
- Providing an administration service to customers as per SLA
- Processing of a wide range of routine and non-routine documentation within defined procedures
- Calculating automated and manual pension benefits
- Check calculations and communications produced by other members of the team
- Resolving customer enquiries (oral and written) based on competent working knowledge of the customer requirements
- Drafting of non-standard correspondence in response to customer enquiries
- Inputting customer details and accessing customer information
- Collating and analysing data and producing routine reports, schedules and summaries in order to update customer records, resolving customer queries
- Provision of technical guidance to members of other teams
- Carry out projects and ad-hoc activities as determined by Team Manager
Skills, Attributes and Behaviour:
- A proven track record and able to demonstrate good knowledge of defined benefit pension scheme.
- Able to work as a part of a team and on own initiative.
- PMI qualifications preferable, but not compulsory
- GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English Grade C
- Good written and communication skills
- Ability to develop working relationships
- Ability to work to work within laid down processes and procedures
- Awareness of scheme rules, industry regulations, and current pensions legislation Microsoft pc packages
- Experience of dealing with external clients
- Working to SLAs.
