Payroll Clerk

Bowmill Engineering and Bowmill Metal Treatments are privately owned businesses operating predominantly in the global aerospace sector and employing around 130 staff at facilities occupying more than 72,000 sq.ft. in Poole, Dorset and in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire. Now operating 3 factories in Poole, a treatments facility and in 2016 a new facility in Tewkesbury. Bowmill Poole is currently seeking an experienced **Payroll Clerk.**

**Specific Duties**

- Maintain payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data

- Update payroll records, process payroll journals and reconciliations

- Process starters and leavers including changes to terms and conditions of employment and pay changes and tax code changes

- Process sickness and holiday pay and statutory entitlements

- Set up pension and process monthly pension submissions

- Submit monthly PAYE submissions to HMRC

- Process Year End Procedures including submitting the P60

- Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analysing information

- Provide payroll information by answering questions and requests

- Maintain employee confidentiality and protects payroll operation

- Process expenses and other ADHOC duties as required
