**Insurance Administrator**

OA is recruiting an **Insurance Administrator** to join our client’s thriving and expanding team.

This role also offers great potential for growth and progression within the company.

**Location**: Borehamwood

**Hours**: Full-time. Monday - Friday. 9am-5:30. Hybrid working available following successful training.

**Salary**: Up to £25,000

**Insurance Administrator - Key Responsibilities**:

- Processing new business, renewals, revised renewals, lapses (including issuing receipts) and mid-term adjustments
- Preparing written responses to routine enquiries
- Providing first line telephone support where needed
- Credit control supporting including contacting parties for outstanding payments
- Building relationships with clients, insurer partners, affiliates and other third parties.
- Accurately enter data onto client records and complete this within the agreed service standards.

**Insurance Administrator - Skills and Experience**:

- Proven experience in an administrative or customer service role
- Excellent attention to detail
- Great organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- The ability to adapt to different tasks at short notice and take initiative
- Enthusiasm to learn new skills
- The ability to work in a team
- A sound level of written and verbal communication along with good numerical skills
- A good understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel
- A basic understanding of the insurance or financial services industry will be useful but not essential.
