Right now we are looking for a Head of Professional Services to join our Tech team.
**Role Profile**
As the Head of Professional Services at CTS reporting to the CTO, you will lead a team of highly skilled technical cloud solutions specialists and architects to deliver hands-on, technical consulting to our clients, designing and implementing cloud and infrastructure solutions.
You will be motivated by building high-performing teams to deliver a world-class service to our clients, have prior Professional Services and organisational leadership experience with excellent communication skills, and be a strategic problem-solver.
You will be providing technical leadership across all aspects of the Professional Service Team. Critically, this role will involve keeping the Company at the forefront of new technologies and services.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Lead the teams to achieve the following**:
- Lead a team of highly skilled technical consultants and solution architects to deliver Management Service Solutions to external clients. Working closely with PMO to ensure effective and efficient delivery of implemented solutions.
- Create service offerings aligned to enterprise and commercial market segments, including value positioning, the scope of services, collateral and pricing.
- Lead delivery of consulting, education and implementation services to our clients, overseeing resource management, project delivery and operational success metrics.
- Own operational metrics, such as time-to-value, client satisfaction and on-time completion of projects.
- Be accountable for services financial goals and metrics, including utilisation and gross margin
- Provide technical pre-sales assistance to guide/shape new opportunities and provide input to Sales proposals through estimates & statements of work
- Manage team utilisation to ensure an appropriate balance of chargeable and non-chargeable utilisation
- Oversee and support team activity to ensure this is progressing to plan/budget & customer satisfaction. Provide expert consultancy services to plan, architect, document, build, test, migrate and transition to service
- Owns the Professional Services toolset, maximising adoption within the team, driving automation to leverage efficiencies and deliver an improved service to clients
- Build external relationships with trusted third-party providers in the delivery of solutions
- Manages team performance, setting objectives and continued development
- Provide Management Reporting for team chargeable v non-chargeable utilisation and overall utilisation of the team
**Essential Criteria.**
- Experience managing technical, cross-functional professional services teams (e.g.consulting, implementation, project managers) and delivery partners within an MSP Environment.
- Demonstrated experience building and scaling a professional services business with accountability for financial targets.
- Experience in a private cloud data centre and Infrastructure platforms including storage, virtualisation and data protection along with public cloud deployments, managed security/MDR and networking.
- Ability to build strong relationships and influence people at all levels
- Talent for delivering results on time, on budget, and to the very highest standards
- Knowledge and key experience in IT Project Management / Prince / Agile
- Self-motivated and ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities
- A structured and methodological approach to activities
