**The Search;**

Following continuous double-digit growth, Purity Global ltd are looking to appoint a Supply Chain Planner to assist in the smooth functioning of our European supply chain following a period of significant growth.

We are searching for a Supply Chain Planner to be based at our Head Office in Hull who will be responsible for planning, ordering and distributing product from across our European supply chain network for an assigned portfolio of products.

Products are supplied from our partner manufacturers across Europe and delivered to all of the UK major retailers either directly or via our warehouse in Manchester.

Optimisation of warehouse space along with ensuring we deliver the very high levels of service our customers demand is a large part of the Supply Chain Planner's role.

**The Role**

Working collaboratively with our retailer customers to forecast sales demand within the portfolio and manage the product flow through the Supply Chain optimising availability and warehouse space blend.

Responsible for the end-to-end management of a group of products from various manufacturing sites throughout Europe through to the retailer logistics network in the UK.

Contribute to profit through engagement with the supply base identifying Supply Chain efficiencies and implementing initiatives to deliver Cost of Goods (COGs) reductions.

Provide business analysis for achieving shared objectives in relation to sales, profit, waste, availability, working capital expenditure and efficiency (stock) to inform and influence the business strategic direction.

Responsible for achieving Category team shared objectives in relation to sales, profit, waste, availability and working capital (stock).

Periodically chair meetings with suppliers and other stakeholders setting objectives, monitoring and communicating performance and, critically, building strong relationships.

A highly motivated self-starter and team player, you possess the confidence to effectively deliver results. You have an analytical mind coupled with the ability to think creatively in a commercial environment in finding new opportunities and solutions. You are a highly numerate individual who acts ethically and with tenacity, pragmatism and determination in the pursuit of success. You interact with integrity and respect at all times.

Currently working in a supply chain role with several years experience working autonomously you are highly computer literate (especially Excel) with strong analytic and numerical skills capable of easily generating, interrogating and manipulating data to create meaningful reports and structures to achieve the results the role demands.

A highly effective communicator who understands the importance of relationships and can build strong networks with all stakeholders internally and externally enabling you to influence desired actions and outcomes.

You have a strong customer focus with good judgement in the face of multiple, and sometimes conflicting, demands.

Educated to at least A-level standard or equivalent you have the mental capacity to process high levels of information in this fast paced environment.

**Essentials;**
- Experience in a supply chain role
- Analytical, commercial mind.
- Highly skilled in the use of Excel
- Influencer with drive and ambition.
- Team player and excellent communicator.
- Driving license.

**Desired;**
- Supply chain related experience in Retail/FMCG to major UK retailers
- Within 1 hour commute to the office in Hull.
