Guillotine Setter required to join well-established company.
To set, operate and manufacture with the use of varying guillotine machines, steel and aluminium products for the building and construction sector as a part of a full offering of building envelope solutions for various projects across a multitude of industries.
Reporting to team leader / production manager
- Reading & interpreting sheet metal product drawings and cutting lists
- Setting & operating guillotine machines (e.g Cincinati, Armada)
- Using of forklift trucks to move material
- Checking / inspecting & Document Quality results to ensure products are sheared correctly
- Adhering to Company Quality Assurance Standards and support continuous improvement steps
- Working both individually and as a team dependant on the size of product required
- Ability to work out the optimum sheet utilisation
- Following agreed packing specification and make goods ready for despatch.
- Understanding and being able to demonstrate basic guillotine maintenance work

**Skills & Specifications**
**Essential**
- Flexibility to support general machine operations

Desirable
- Forklift Licence
- Ability to support press brake operation if required
- Knowledge and Experience of sheet metal industry

**Educat**ion & Qualifications**
GCSE educated or equivalent

**Salary**: £12.70 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
