Evans Transport Caldicot is seeking a dedicated and skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal to ensuring smooth transhipping operations and effective yard management. **Key Responsibilities**
- Transhipping Duties: Efficiently load and unload goods from vehicles, trailers, and containers using forklifts, ensuring accuracy and safety at all times.
- Yard Operations: Organize and maintain the yard to high standards, including the movement, storage, and secure handling of goods.
- Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, company policies, and operational procedures.
- Flexibility in Support Roles: Perform additional tasks, such as assisting in warehouse operations or supporting other departments when required.

Skills and Qualifications

**.**Experience of pallet network operations an advantage
- Valid and up-to-date forklift operator certification. Training can be provided
- Proven experience in forklift operations, including loading, unloading, and yard management.
- Strong understanding of health and safety protocols in a logistics and transport environment.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
