**XSLT Developer - Remote - North West England - £600/day (Inside IR35) - 5 Months - Public Sector - Immediate Start**

DataBuzz are recruiting on behalf of a prestigious Public Sector organization who are currently looking for **XSLT Developer (Remote Role)**
As a **XSLT Developer (Remote Role),**you will focused on improving maintainability of XSLT work, de-customise and provide comprehensive, language agnostic documentation of logic by refactoring towards cleaner code, comprehensive tests, documentationand knowledge transfer.

As a **XSLT Developer (Remote Role),**you will working with the Service Owner, Product manager, Delivery Manager, Lead, Senior Developers, specialist and Developers (internal and external).

As a **XSLT Developer (Remote Role),**you will customize complex XSLT workflows for digital preservation and export to the external website including custom Java extensions with the transformations of custom business logic for complex collectionsingestion.

As a **XSLT Developer (Remote Role),**you will improve maintainability of the XSLTs with documentation of transforms and the logic's implementation and will be used to help move away from custom workflows without XSLT with the desired end stateto de-customisation and the xml processing logic to be rewritten using Java or Scala.

As a **XSLT Developer (Remote Role),**you will knowledge transfer of XSLT development and develop new transformations for the existing system.

**Essential skills and experience**
- Strong expertise of XSLT development.
- Expertise in Java development skills.
- Experience in Writing automated tests
- Ability to produce clear technical documentation and ensure appropriate and timely knowledge transfer
- Evidence of the ability to plan, manage and take responsibility for your own work
- Experience in Test driven development
- Experience in Continuous development/integration pipelines
- Experience of delivering transition, knowledge transfer and handover of code

**Nice-to-have skills and experience;**
- Experence in Scala development skills.
