Are you a Senior Warehouse Operations Manager looking for your next big break? Or a Contract Manager hoping to secure your next challenge? Here at XPO, we’re looking for a Contract Manager for one of our customers in Milton Keynes on a full-time, permanentbasis. This opportunity would suit someone looking for a role where they can take responsibility for overseeing the operational activity for UK and Ireland, while also contributing on a strategic level to the contract commercial development

**Pay, benefits and more**:
Working a Monday - Friday, core hours. We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £45,000 per annum with 25 days’ holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts, as wellas a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension, and many other perks.

**What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- Creating, maintaining and managing an effective and efficient warehouse operation, ensuring all agreed SLA’s are met
- Maximising profitability by monitoring financial performance and implementing any corrective actions necessary
- Developing sustainable customer relationships by delivering a quality service and understanding the customer’s needs, processes and priorities
- Ensuring internal audit and H&S standards are adhered to at all times
- Efficiently manage the warehouse operations at our Milton Keynes site, with further responsibility of our deep storage sites at Leigh, Wakefield and Northampton alongside overall responsibility of our Dublin based operation, ensuring they achieve targetedperformance levels
- Monitor the sites operational activities, ensuring that contractual obligations for customers are achieved, generating solutions for continuous improvement in service and financial performance
- Compile, submit and present various performance and cost data for both the customer and XPO by way of daily, weekly, monthly and ad-hoc reports
- Ensure the site is legally compliant by ensuring correct processes are in place, have an owner and are monitored

**What y ou need to succeed at XPO**:

- Extremely strong background in a warehouse operations role.
- The ability to mentor and develop a diverse workforce.
- Excellent communication skills, with customer-facing exposure and an interest to commercially develop the contract
- The ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines while working on their own initiative
- Flexibility of working hours to suit the demands of the business
- An understanding of key operational cost drivers, P&L or cost centre management
