Printer Assistant

We are currently looking for a **Printer Assistant.** **Duties will include**: - Collecting stock from the warehouse for printing - De-lidding boxes - Packing printed boxes into outers - Taking printed stock out to the warehouse for despatch - Working with the print team to maximise daily print output - Assisting the operation of the print room where required **About you** You will need to be enthusiastic and able to work as part of a team. It’s essential that you’re keen and have an interest in our products. **Skills / Qualifications required** **What is Hot Foil Printing?** Hot foil printing is a process using coloured foil instead of ink, and can be applied to numerous flat surfaces including card, paper, leather and plastic. - The hot foil die (printing plate) is attached to the machine and heated up. - Foil is placed between the die (printing plate) and the substrate to be printed. - Pressure is then applied by (the printer) pulling the handle of the machine to bring the two briefly together to adhere the foil to the substrate.
