Job Introduction
We have a fantastic opportunity as a Team Leader within our 0-19 Children's Community services. This is a permanent full-time position with the flexibility to work remotely from home, with travel into the service only required for service demands and monthly meetings.

You will be the direct line manager for 15 Health Visitors and oversee the healthy family practitioners. This role offers you the chance to be creative and innovative and manage the team in a way that you feel best, which includes tracking the performance and KPI’s of the team.

Working within Lancs 0-19 offers a **unique environment**, with clear visibility of senior management who are easily approachable due to their hands-on approach, which includes our Managing Director. You will feel listened to and be given the platforms to have your voice and ideas heard.

Main Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- To take responsibility for the recruitment and selection of staff within the team.
- To lead and update the locality Service Manager in ensuring that the workforce within the team is reviewed on a regular basis and ensure that skill mix adapts to meet the changing needs of the service and teams.
- To ensure adequate service provision by managing annual leave, absence, and vacant posts.
- To ensure that service users views are actively sought and fed into service developments

To be successful in this role, you will be a qualified Health Visitor or SCPHN School Nurse, have strong organisational skills and enjoy managing a team.

In additional, you will thrive when working under pressure and have the ability to think outside of the box. As this is a community role a valid UK driving licence and access to a car for work purposes is essential.
