**Position**: Logistics and warehouse supervisor

**Reports to**: Managing Director

**Key Role** You will be responsible for all areas of the warehouse on a day-to-day basis and will organise international shipping logistics on behalf of our clients.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Organise the transportation of products from one location to another world-wide and ensure all customs paperwork are completed correctly.
- Have a good understanding of customs procedures including the preparation or ATA Carnets,
- Using our inhouse online asset management tool you will check and verify order requests and prepare online shipping paperwork with various freight/courier companies including DHL and federal Express
- Supervise staff in all areas of the warehouse to improve performance and efficiency.
- Goods In/out: responsible for planning of receiving, warehousing and dispatch operations.
- Daily supervision of all parts of a busy compact warehouse and using the space effectively with the help of the team.
- Work with management team to recommend and implement strategic operational improvements.
- Enforcing workplace Health & Safety regulations.
- Responsible for regular Stock takes & date checks and reporting of shortages or discrepancies.
- Other duties when and if required.

**Education**:4 GCSE’s or equivalent (preferably English and Maths).

Computer literacy is essential in both excel and word.

**Experience**:Minimum of 5 years’ experience of working within shipping logistics and warehouse environment.

**Associated Skills/Knowledge/Abilities**:

- Ability to manage and delegate daily tasks.
- Ability to sort practical problems as and when they arise.
- Excellent telephone manner.
- Good technically and hands on abilities.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of customer care.
- Attention to detail is very important.
- Must be physically fit.
- Must have driving license.

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
