**Senior HR Business Partner**

(National role)

Role Purpose

This is a key role within the divisional Senior Management Team, partnering with the Business Unit Director and their leadership team, the role directly line manages the HR Business Partner team across the Business Unit.
The Senior HR Business Partner is accountable for the development, co-ordination and execution of the People and Culture Strategy for the Business Unit, responsible for all elements of the people operation, including Resourcing, Employee Relations, Talent andLearning, championing people innovation. The Senior HR Business Partner is also responsible for building a sustainable partnership across the Greene King network, primarily the people and operational functions to ensure that solutions are always fit for purpose.Through a commercial and people focus lens, the Senior HR Business Partner is responsible for identifying future needs of the business unit in line with any growth and development opportunity.
The Senior HR Business Partner is accountable for ensuring the Business Unit is within risk tolerance, maintaining high people standards across in all aspects.
- Key Accountabilities
- People leader in tactical leadership as well as supporting the Business Unit Director with strategy development and execution
- Line management of the HR Business Partner team, including day to day management of people metrics and people risks in operations, analysing and building solutions for off track KPI's.
- Ownership for development and execution of the people and culture agenda
- A well-developed understanding of group people policies and network, guiding management teams through HR advice on culture, wellbeing, recognition and building sustainable engagement.
- Key member and influencer of the PUV Divisional HR team and divisional Senior Management Team - representing the business unit at a divisional level ensuring requirements are considered as appropriate.
- Deputising accountability for HR Director

Person Specification
- Ability to partner Business Unit Director to develop operational leadership and management teams
- Effective line management skills, building capability through excellent leadership
- Ability to build and execute people and culture strategy
- Exceptional at building relationships and influencing at all levels, internal and external, through listening and adjusting communication style to meet the needs of the audience
- Strong all-round communication skills including delivery and presentation of information to all levels, as well as regularly presenting to Leadership and Senior Management as well as Management Teams
- Confident in providing meaningful, objective challenges ensuring that the right outcomes are reached that take into consideration not just the operational priority but that meets people priorities as well
- Relentless, proactive focus on improving sustainable business performance through a people-focussed approach to business planning
- Extensive knowledge of HR policy and process and always has a plan to meet or exceed expectations
- Dynamic and can use thinking skills to analyse, decide, prioritise and plan, managing several programmes/projects at the same time
- Can balance short term requirements with long term objectives to achieve commercial goals
- Always seeking to improve quality and service for our internal / external stakeholders

Technical / Professional Expertise Required
- Relevant and meaningful experience in HR business partnering,
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills
- Experience in a multi-site offering within a matrix structure organisation
