**PA to Head of School required immediately for an Active Learning Trust School, located north of Ely, Cambridgeshire.**

**Salary of £139 - £152 per day depending on experience**

As PA to the Head of School, you will be responsible for making sure that the school has effective systems in place for managing staff, and for managing the HR and personnel correspondence that comes with hiring and managing people. You will help to find new staff by advertising job vacancies, and you'll organise interviews and checks to make sure that new staff are safe to work with.

You'll also oversee organising training for support staff and keeping track of everyone's holidays and attendance. You'll help to keep the school site safe by doing risk assessments and making sure that staff are trained properly. And you'll be part of the school community, helping to make sure that everyone follows the rules and stays safe.

**The key requirements for this role are**:

- Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or Administrative Assistant, with exposure to working confidentially
- Experience working in an educational setting
- HR Qualification desired, but not essential
- Experience in using Microsoft Office including Word and Excel and other relevant software
- Ability to organise and prioritise workload effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail with accurate and efficient record keeping and filing
- Familiarity with recruitment and employment life-cycle processes
