An outstanding academy in South London are looking to appoint several graduate Secondary Teaching Assistants. The school are looking for graduates with a high level of degree (either 2:1 or above). This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone with SecondaryTeaching Assistant experience or aspiring secondary teachers to observe excellent practice within a school setting. It is essential that the Secondary Teaching Assistant has experience working with pupils in an education environment.

About the Secondary Teaching Assistant Role
The Secondary Teaching Assistant will be under the leadership and supervision of the SENDCO. They will work with the departments to ensure that there is a high quality of education for all students; working with groups or individuals within lessons, particularlystudents with SEND, covering lessons within the department and supporting with other activities that will have a direct impact on student outcomes. Any aspiring secondary teacher will find this school a stimulating environment, where they can hone their pupilinteraction skills. Although support will be required in the main school, the Secondary Teaching Assistant will have the opportunity to work in a few different classes with the sixth form as required. This role would be ideal for a graduate who will be applyingfor a secondary PGCE place in the future.
