Job description:
Your key responsibilities as the Assistant Accounts Receivables Manager will consist of:

- Manage a team of Credit controllers and Billing assistants
- Responsible for a small portfolio of National accounts
- Maximise monthly cash collections, in line with agreed client contractual payment terms
- Ensure the daily cash allocation to clients' accounts is accurate and achieved within given timescale
- Maintain the debt query management tool and drive prompt dispute resolutions to ensure funds available for collection
- Maintain the billing functions and drive for the accurate and prompt delivery of invoices
- Drive for achievement of team set monthly KPi's
- Attend monthly debt calls with Operational teams to drive and focus cash collections
- Provide weekly reporting of Accounts receivables ledger for the business
- Provide credit screening for existing and potential new clients, to maximise revenue opportunities and minimise risk of bad debt
- Train, coach, develop and manage performance across the team.
- Perform monthly 1-2-1 meetings with the team members
- Assist in ad hoc projects and tasks as required by the business, in relation to Accounts receivables and Billing
- Initiate and support continuous improvement opportunities within the team.

Profile description:
The experience and knowledge we are looking for from the future Assistant Accounts Receivables Manager include;
- Previous experience of managing an Accounts receivables team and ideally a member of the CICM or working towards the qualifications
- SAP FICO knowledge
- Excellent communicator with ability to solve problems, communicate and influence at all levels
- Strong excel skills, with the ability to manipulate late volumes of data to produce business information
- Highly organised, with the ability to work under pressure
- A team player with a flexible approach to work
- Warm, friendly and genuine

We offer:
As part of your package, we are offering a salary up to £34,000 depending on experience plus a 10% performance-related bonus.
