Dentalcare Group have an exciting opportunity for a Qualified Orthodontic Therapist to join our professional and friendly team in this lovely, local, NHS & Private practice. **About Us** The first Dentalcare surgery opened in 1964 and have since built a reputation in **serving people well**. We are inspired by **developing Centres of Excellence** at every one of our practices - focused on our patients’ specialist needs such as dental implants and orthodontics. **The Role & Working Hours** - The role is available on a permanent, part-time basis, days and hours - negotiable - You will be working on behalf of the Orthodontist by prescription to provide the best patient journey possible - Within this role, you will be responsible for taking impressions, inserting passive and removable orthodontic appliances, inserting removable appliances activated or adjusted by an Orthodontist / Dentist, removing fixed appliances, orthodontic adhesives, and cement - You will provide treatment and education of orthodontic hygiene and will where appropriate advise and refer patients to Dentists for further investigation or treatment as is clinically identified and required - The start date for this role is ideally as soon as possible **About You** - You will be a qualified, GDC registered Orthodontic therapist with one years’ + proven experience - You must be diligent, hard-working, and passionate about providing quality orthodontic therapy services - It is important that you are a personable, positive, and enthusiastic professional - and that you **want to** put patients’ interest first - SOE experience would be beneficial (although training can be provided) - You will have an ability to work in a team, with a willingness to learn, be mentored and teach others **Benefits for you** - There is great potential and an excellent remuneration package, if you are keen to provide high standards of clinical care, have excellent communication skills and if you are commercially astute - We offer Indemnity insurance as well as GDC membership paid after 2 years - Up to 28 non-clinic-days (inclusive of bank holidays, pro rata) - You will be supported by a Practice Manager to make sure you get the right training and development to be successful. - We will also provide you with CPD and support you in your personal development throughout your career with us. - We are a recognised "Investors in People" company **If you are looking for a change away from a small practice or large dental corporate this is a genuine opportunity to join a progressive group which can offer fantastic career opportunities in a beautiful part of England - **Please get in touch with us today
