**About the Role**

We are looking for an part time Early Years Practitioner to bring a strong work ethic, energy and desire to work with young children and their families, at our new Kells Setting, Cleator Moor and Whitehaven. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of our successful team and make a positive impact on children's lives within our local community. An array of hours is available, spanning from 8am to 4pm, all year round.

**General Duties**

Daily duties will include, but not be limited to:

- To foster an environment where children's social and emotional development will flourish
- To assist with the planning, organisation and maintain a learning environment appropriate to the developmental needs and interests of children
- To work as part of a team of providers of early years education and development sharing responsibilities where necessary.
- To encourage children to be independent in personal skills in feeding, changing and toileting supporting them where necessary
- To be responsible for indoor and outdoor learning areas and activities, and to plan, prepare and display appropriate materials.

**About you**

We are looking for someone that can welcome the children, parents and team into the nursery with a smile on their face. You will need to have excellent communication to build positive relationships with the children, families and staff, be flexible and keen to develop your own skills and knowledge. You will need to hold a Level 3 Early Years Childcare qualification is required.
