**_About the team _**
**_City of London Police is a local service with a national role. Our corporate services directorate is fundamental to our ability to keep people who live, work and visit the city safe, and to deliver on our national responsibilities for economic and cyber-crime. _**

**_About the role _**
**_City of London Police is the national policing lead for economic and cybercrime with an ambitious change programme to be delivered over the next 12 months. In this role you will work with stakeholders across policing and government to implement national strategies and build capabilities to address emerging economic crime threats. You will also lead on strategic business planning and insights for our national lead force business area. _**
**_Responsibilities _**
**_In this role, you will: _**
**_Support the NPCC Economic and Cybercrime Portfolio and National Lead Force responsibilities through development and delivery of national strategy for economic and cybercrime and government engagement on economic crime policy and strategy. _**
**_Work with stakeholders across policing and government to implement national strategies and build capabilities to address emerging economic crime threats. You will also lead on strategic business planning and insights for our national lead force business area. _**
**_Keep abreast of the NPCC agenda, policies and other initiatives, leading and coordinating the production of briefings, advice and recommendations to inform the force’s position, responses and input into NPCC and other national policing groups. _**
**_Requirements _**
**_For this role, we need you to have experience of: _**
- **_Experience operating at a senior management level within the economic crime environment with an established network of relationships across government and law enforcement agencies. _**:
- **_Experience of engaging with senior government officials to develop strategies and policy and identify funding opportunities to help improve the police service response to Economic Crime. _**:
- **_Experience of working within the police service or the demonstrable ability to become familiar with and assimilate detailed knowledge of the service at both national and local levels in a short space of time, in order to make an early and effective contribution. _**:
- **_Significant and demonstrable experience of working in a strategy, policy and / or performance-related field in a complex public sector organisation. _**
