**Who You Are / Your Next Challenge**
We are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join our fast-paced and growing cyber security company. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Credit Controller will prioritise, chase and manage the collection of monies owed from client accounts alongside completing debt reviews and, where appropriate, liaising with the wider business to seek resolution.
A snapshot of the key day to day duties you will be responsible for delivering in this role include:
- Produce debt reports and review for senior stakeholders and the CFO.
- Prepare client statements as and when required.
- To resolve and, where required, escalate account queries.
**Note**:This is a full-time / 6 month fixed-term contract position, available to start immediately and can be worked remote. However, you will be expected to travel to the office in Stevenage for training and key team meetings.
**What we’re looking for / Skills that will help you in the role**
Essential
- Proven experience in a Credit Controller/Collections role is essential.
- Able to perform duties with a broad latitude for judgement and problem solving.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills with strong attention-to-detail and accuracy.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with a can-do attitude and the ability to think laterally.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good commercial acumen.
- Resilient to change, adapting to and supporting new situations with confidence.
- Solution-focused approach to resolve engineering problems and incidents and the ability to make objective / evidence based decisions using insights.
Desirable
- Previous experience using Xero is advantageous but not essential (we will train you).
