We are currently working with a GOOD Primary School in the Bromley area who are looking for 2 Learning Support Assistants to start with them ASAP.

The school are looking for Learning Support Assistants to work within their SEN provision. The provision supports children with Speech and Language difficulties.

There are two language classes. The Lower Language Class is for children from Reception to Year 2/3 and the Upper Language Class has children from Year 3 to Year 6. There are 24 places across the two classes

The aim of the Speech and Language Provision is to offer intensive Speech and Language therapy together with specialist teaching in small classes for children who have a variety of severe speech & language disorders.

The children who are in the language classes share playtimes, assemblies, lunchtimes, and some lessons with mainstream classes. Both language classes follow the National Curriculum. Special teaching techniques including the use of Makaton signing, visualsymbols and regular speech and language therapy help the children to make progress with their communication skills.

When a child is ready, he or she is gradually included into an age
- appropriate mainstream class.

We are ideally looking for Learning Support Assistants who have Speech and Language experience but will also consider people with SEN experience but willing to learn.

This Learning Support Assistant role is 5 days a week and the hours are 8:30am to 3:30pm.

Pay is £75 to £80 per day PAYE.
