**About Our Client**:
Our client, based in Poole, are one of the UK's leading accountancy firms across the south. They are seeking a payroll specialist to join their sizeable payroll function.

Payroll Specialist role:

- Working within the team to process a wide variety of payrolls for clients
- Acting as a point of contact for a defined portfolio of clients and managing that portfolio effectively
- Setting up of new client payrolls ensuring all data is clean
- Liaising with new clients to ensure they are happy with the service
- Undertaking customer surveys and taking appropriate action to make any relevant improvements to the service
- Keeping up to date with new legislation
- Dealing directly with relevant client queries in an efficient and timely manner
- Liaising with HMRC around employee payments
- Ensuring day to day processing is completed on time
- Being aware of the Payroll Solutions Business Plan and identifying new business opportunities
- Ensuring all policies and procedures are updated regularly and are adhered to

**The Successful Applicant**:
The successful Payroll Specialist:

- Experience of managing a defined client portfolio effectively
- Good working knowledge of payroll legislation
- Excellent client service skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both verbally and in writing
- Able to work independently and as part of an established team, assisting others as required
- Ability to work to strict deadlines
- Ability to deal with a wide range of clients in a polite and professional manner
- IT literate and able to use Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
- Accurate and numerate, with a methodical and organised approach to work.
