**Quality Systems Manager - £40,000 - Telford, Shropshire**

**The Role
Are you confident, proactive, and committed to renewable energy and environmental sustainability? Do you have prior experience running a QMS within a SME or equivalent? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.

AceOn Group is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team to establish AceOn as one of the leading Renewable Energy and Battery Power Specialists in the UK.

In this role you will develop, sustain and improve the Quality Management System in line with the required industry standards. You will also regulate, control and improve the quality of all processes throughout the business and the final product.

**Key Responsibilities:
The key responsibilities of a Quality Systems Managerinclude, but are not limited to:

- Contribute to new business initiatives and projects and review and communicate the impact on Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Develop and maintain Management Systems strategy and the management arrangements for key milestones, demonstrating solid progress against plan.
- Ensure that all in-house systems and procedures are updated, revised and modified to meet the needs of external certification bodies.
- Ensure that all necessary systems and procedures are in place to satisfy all customer requirements and audits.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with the Quality Management System.
- Manage, coach and develop a high performing Quality System team that meets agreed objectives, and which delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements.
- Work collaboratively, negotiate and engage with key stakeholders to facilitate delivery and compliance with the quality strategy.

**The Company
We manufacture bespoke battery packs and also have outstanding, market-leading products - batteries, Inverters, solar PV panels, residential and commercial energy storage systems - with excellent performance and outstanding warranties.

**The Person
The key skills and qualities of a Quality Systems Manager are:

- Experience of operating a QMS within an SME or equivalent.
- A detailed understanding of ISO 9001 / IS014001 / IS0 45001.
- Relevant manufacturing/engineering degree is preferred, or HND, BTEC Professional Level 5 Award or equivalent NVQ Level 5 qualifications (eg Chartered Member of IOSH).
- Membership of an industry-related professional body would be advantageous.
- Extensive experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience of dealing with customers and suppliers.
- Lead qualification auditor for the above ISOs.
- Proactively contribute to creating a good team atmosphere.
- Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making.
- Excellent leadership and people-management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Commercially aware.
