Recovery Worker

We are a 24/7 residential treatment centre in Largs specialising in the treatment of Alcohol, Substance Misuse and Mental Health. We are looking for an enthusiastic, pro-active, hands-on staff to join our dynamic multi-disciplinary team working on a **permanent nightshift** pattern.

**Shift pattern would be**:
8pm-8am, contracted 42 hours p/w.

WK1: _Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday_

WK2: _Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday_

Permanent waking nightshift, but the nights of the week you will be working is negotiable if the above shift pattern does not suit.

**About the Role**

You will be supporting adults with substance misuse and mental health needs within a medically assisted detoxification and rehabilitation setting. As part of the team, you will support the client throughout their treatment stay. This could include developing person-centred recovery plans, undertaking assessments or providing emotional and practical support.

Previous care work experience in this field is preferable but not necessary as training will be given. Relevant qualifications within health and social care/counselling/holistic therapies would be advantageous.
