I am currently recruiting on behalf of a market
- leading software development company in Manchester who are recognised as the leading UK Enterprise Fintech. The organisation is growing year on year and winning lots of awards internationally - They are seekinga Python Developer to join them on a permanent basis

They have an office in Albert Square, Manchester - they offer very flexible working - couple of days per month for team meeting/workshops etc

They are essentially seeking a proven Developer with strong expertise in Python, Javascript and SQL.

The team is renowned for pushing the boundaries of the products they work with, helping clients achieve leading-edge analytics to help solve very real business challenges. You will work with modern technologies and be an integral part of evolving high-performingplatform.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Requirements analysis and software design
- Software development (full-stack, full-lifecycle)
- Troubleshooting development and production problems
- Provide support for existing software and our clients

**Role requirements**:

- Must had a strong ability in Python Development incl. deep dives skills incl build from scratch ideally
- Proven foundation in Python dev and a number of years in their field
- Must have experience in complex code and scripting experience
- Financial services industry experience would be beneficial but not essential
- A background in end user/client side rather than agency background needed due to complexity of requirements

**Beneficial**:

- Exposure to logic programming (Prolog, OWL)
- Familiarity with containers (Docker) and VMs (Vagrant)
- Exposure to database optimisation
- Familiarity with continuous intergration (CI)
- Experience with automated testing
