We are looking for an enthusiastic, warehouse operative to join our growing team based in Newhaven. This opportunity encompasses two specific brands, Premier Impressions & Premier Brands, both of which specialise in the supply and branding of business gifts and promotional items.

This is a fast-paced role, where you will be involved in a wide variety of tasks. From receiving and checking incoming goods, unpacking, and repacking customer orders, and despatching goods via various couriers.

We are looking for someone with a positive, flexible work attitude who is willing to undertake additional duties in line with the needs of the business.

**Responsibilities and main activities**:
Receiving, moving, checking, and storing incoming goods.

Checking and inspecting all goods received, ensuring they are accurate, type and match customer requirements.

Loading and unloading lorries, vans, and other vehicles.

Correctly label goods on arrival and prior to despatch.

Contact various courier companies to coordinate collections and deliveries.

Liaise with customers to ensure goods are despatched in line with their specific requirements.

Report any discrepancies, breakages, and shortages.

Accurately update the internal order management system.

Keep goods in/out area clean and tidy to ensure operational efficiency.

Operate in a safe manner complying with all health, safety, and environmental requirements to ensure own and the safety of others.

Unpacking, and repacking goods.

Work closely with both customers and internal departments to ensure the smooth running of the goods in and despatch department.

Undertake additional duties in line with the needs of the business.

Able to react to change due to operational and client requirements.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Willing to work overtime at short notice.

Excellent attention to detail.

Able to multitask, plan, prioritise and organise own workload.

Must be a team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude.

**Desirable Requirements**:
Experience of working in a warehouse environment.

Forklift Truck Licence.

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
