As a Barclays Procurement Clients Partnership Lead, your role will be to ensure that services provided to Barclays 5 Business Divisions by the Procurement function are delivered in accordance with our internal service agreement and continually reviewed to improve the quality and standard of the service. This is a senior VP role in the Procurement Client Partnerships Team so you will be expected to withhold key senior business relationships within the Procurement function up to and including at Managing Director level.

**What will you be doing?**
- Leading elements of the Procurement strategy for the team, for example delivery of cross Procurement initiatives
- Working with senior stakeholders as a ‘trusted commercial advisor’ who understands their priorities and strategic agenda in addition to Procurements requirements
- Co-ordinating across the Procurement teams such as the management team, Sourcing, Supplier
- Establishing the strategic direction of Procurement in relation to their area of responsibility
- Ensuring the Procurement services to business units are performed in accordance with the services agreement between the Division and Barclays Execution Services
- Setting the priorities for Procurement in relation to deals, category planning, operations, change and supplier management activities
**What we’re looking for**:
- Someone with proven stakeholder management skills; ability to conduct senior level engagement/communication, comfortably and credibly
- Very efficient Excel and Powerpoint capability being comfortable with managing dataset and management information
- Detailed knowledge of appropriate commercial models and approaches/techniques necessary to identify commercial opportunities in the supply base
**Skills that will help you in the role**:
- Well-developed financial/business planning and management skills, appropriate for understanding and coordinating high value/strategic deals and suppliers
- Proven Procurement experience in a business environment with expressed ability of communication
**Where will you be working?**
Northampton was the birthplace of Barclaycard in 1966 and we've been based in Pavilion Drive since the building opened in 1997. This state-of-the art energy efficient building holds up to 2,500 staff. The office location is perfect for travel from the midlands and London alike as we are based just off the A45, it is easily accessible by both car and bus routes.
You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford. The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations. The campus is set in a 64-acre self-contained site, in a beautiful green environment and it offers unrivalled facilities for work and for play. We have an onsite gym, as well as outdoor tennis, football and cricket areas, as well as onsite restaurant and coffee shops.
