Pharmacy Healthcare Assistant

**Role Overview**:
As a Pharmacy Healthcare Assistant/Counter Staff member, you’ll be the welcoming face of our pharmacy. Your role is crucial in ensuring our customers receive the best possible care and advice. You'll assist with the day-to-day operations, provide excellent customer service, and support the pharmacy team in delivering healthcare solutions.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Customer Service**: Greet and assist customers with their healthcare needs, offering advice on over-the-counter medications and products.
- **Stock Management**: Help with the ordering, unpacking, and organizing of pharmacy stock to ensure shelves are well-stocked and tidy.
- **Health Advice**: Provide basic health and wellbeing advice, guiding customers to the appropriate products and services.
- **Administrative Tasks**: Handle transactions, manage the till, and maintain accurate customer records.
- **Cleanliness & Safety**: Ensure the pharmacy is clean, safe, and welcoming for all customers.
**Qualifications**:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- A friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Basic knowledge of over-the-counter medications and healthcare products (training will be provided).
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
- Previous experience in a pharmacy or retail environment is a plus but not essential.
