The transport department require an enthusiastic, self motivated and flexible individual to join our drivers and fleet of vehicles to support our ' Just in Time' manufacturing ethos.

**Main duties & responsibilities**:

- Delivery of Dextra Group Goods to customers in both the UK and EU countries.
- Collection of raw materials and components from suppliers.
- Collection of waste lighting and lamps from Dexreco customers.
- Load and unload you own vehicle with a TMF (Training will be given )
- Compliance with the Drivers’ hours rules Regulation (EC)561/2006
- Compliance with the Working time rules Directive 2002/15/EC
- Compliance with all traffic Regulations / Restrictions and FORS.
- Record a weekly time sheet and maintain tachograph records
- General maintenance and cleanliness of allocated vehicle
- Communicating with internal and external customers
- Handling delivery notes
- Route planning
- Security of allocated vehicle and the load
- Follow all Quality Control guidelines set by the Company
- Follow the requirements of the Company’s ISO Procedure
- Follow the Company’s Health and Safety Policy, work instructions & safe systems of work.

**Post Requirements**:

- LGV cat C licence
- LGV cat C + E licence (desirable but not essential)
- Current drivers qualification and digital tachograph card
- Valid passport
- Knowledge of Road Transport Directive and current drivers hours
- Good communication skills
- Smart appearance
- Flexible approach to work and start times with overnights and some weekend work required
