We are now currently looking for Karting Marshalls to join our fun team at our brand-new Gravity Max Westfield Stratford.
**What you’ll be doing**
You will be a pivotal member of the team, helping our customers safely enjoy our Karting, on our dual track karting experience which uses the latest technology to enhance our customers experience. Ideally you will come from a karting background as this can be a very busy environment to work in (we don’t expect people with e karting experience but experience with ICE Karting is a definite benefit)
**Your typical day as a Karting Marshall**
- Everything is about the customer experience, and customer safety. You will be here to reinforce the safety message to our customers from your initial greeting to helping them leave the pit lane.
- You will make sure they have been through the safety induction and understand what we expect of them.
- You will ensure their helmets fit and are properly done up.
- You will escort customers to the track and into their karts in a safe and organised manner.
- You will be a track marshal during the racing, keeping our racers experience fin and safe.
- You will guide racers back into pit lane and help them exit the kart in a safe manner.
We will want you to interact with our customers in a fun but firm way, we need to make sure they fully understand their briefings. But you can also look for sales opportunity with upgrades such as head cams to enhance their memories of the day.
We are looking for team members who can be flexible in the hours and days they work, and you will be required to work an any 5 from 7 shift rota. The site is open from the morning through to late evenings and you will be scheduled to work varying shifts on a weekly basis. We will consider part time and full-time hours for this role.
