Working with our busy stone walling production team, the operative will load, cut and unload the saw, cutting stone scant into slabs at various sizes. Loading the slabs onto the automatic cropping line and waste removal. A good understanding of math and dimensions is essential. A keen eye for detail is important as the operative will be responsible for quality check on the stone before handing over for cropping. Experience with stone cutting saws would be an advantage but not essential as training will be given.

**_Role & Responsibilities_**
- This is a hands on role and the operative should be physically able to perform manual lifting.
- Loading and unloading of the working area using Fork Lift, previous experience would be an advantage however Forklift (Tele / Counter Balance)
- The operative will be responsible for tidiness and maintenance of their machine and working area and will be working as part of an experienced team.
- The team is responsible for the tidiness and maintenance of the workshop.

**_Essentials_**
- Own transportation to and from the work place.
- Good communication skills and able to follow instruction and work to deadlines.
- We expect some degree of flexibility when it comes to working hours and job roles, occasionally staff will be required to perform different tasks and work additional hours.
- Working hours are Mon-Fri (7am - 6pm) Sat (7am-1pm, paid as overtime).

All PPE provided, all training provided..

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £9.50 per hour
