Machinery Plant Services Ltd specialises in services to Sheet Metal Working Machinery, which includes, electrical/electronic, mechanical and hydraulic repairs. As the UK agent, we also undertake retrofits of Cybelec CNC controls.

You will predominately be office based, and assist the Technical Manager. If you have previous maintenance experience in the Sheet Metal Working/Machine Tool field this role would suit you. this role may also suit a recently qualified engineering graduate/apprenticeas relevant training in our specific product will be available to someone with the right skill set.

You will be communicating directly with our clients, assisting technically, booking in service visits, liaising with our workshop technicians and field service engineers plus general office admin.

**Are you the right person for us?**
- Sound basic knowledge of machine tools, control systems and diagnostics
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to talk technically to customers and provide support
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office
- CAD experience would be desirable but not essential
- Willing to undertake training in the MPS software to enable loading of job worksheets, booking workshop jobs in, locating and sending out information in the data archive to engineers
- Ability to locate, despatch and order spare parts where necessary
- Live within a 40-minute commute of our office in Earls Barton Northants
