Experience of supporting individuals in a similar role is required. A driving licence is also preferred for driving vehicles within the service.
The people we support are proud of remaining independent and are able to complete tasks round the house. They enjoy going out in to the community and getting involved with a range of activities such as swimming, local walks, cinema, going shopping, comic con, safari park, bowling, crazy golf and are open to new ideas, describing themselves as funny, energetic and independent.
Staff must be resilient when working in service and be able to come up with new ideas/activities to share with the team that may interest and stimulate the gentlemen, working with tailored care and support plans.
